My new BIZ adventure!

My new adventure.......with my BESTIE, Heather Leak! We just created a page on facebook, check it out at : Poppies Garden on Facebook. Become a "fan"! We are also on Twitter! And we have an email address as well: poppiesgarden@ymail.com.

The name is "Poppies Garden". This stems from Heather's grandfather's nickname. They all call him Poppie. He was also very good friends with my grandfather. They are two men we sincerely look up to and respect. My grandaddy is now with God but I can honor him this way along with Heather's grandfather. Our design is centered around the flower "Poppy" but Poppie and my grandfather very much like(d) to garden. Poppie has a garden every year that is quite beautiful (and delish I may add! ;) ) So, there's the story of POPPIES GARDEN!

Our other best friends are crafty too, so they have been contributing and selling their fun things on our site too! 

Here are some of the things we are making! We will be creating some fun winter/Christmas things very soon!

Ethan and Hannah Ocean Isle Beach NC 2010


Hannah holds Ethans hand as she shows him the ocean. He's getting so big! He wasn't thrilled about touching the sand too much or to be left alone in the sand to play, but he was safe and sound holding his sissy's hand. Hannah wakes us every morning asking us "When can we go to the SHORE?!" I just love her vocabulary. She's my smart cookie. :) Ethan is so close to walking its almost sickening! Ha! He will walk holding your fingers (barely holding on) but the moment you try to let go, he sits down. 14 mos. old and he's still crawling...but hey, at least I know he CAN do it...just WONT do it. Stubborn Irish boy? LOL!

Bubbles.Freckles.Giggles.

Hannah loves to play with bubbles. She always has, even when she was a wee one she would ask to do bubbles at our house, at Mimi's house, whoever she could sucker into doing it. The bubbles are beautiful, but SHE, MY HANNAH, is more beautiful than any shiny iridescent bubble floating in the air!

Hickory Grove 4th of July Parade 2010!

This year was the year of the FANCY PANTS Brigade!!! Hannah and some of her friends were in the parade and went all out with their decorations! (as you can see!) Caydence, Aiden and Emmy all paraded down Hickory Grove Rd. in all their glory! Hannah won the "Fancy Pants" trophy for being the most patriotic...we couldn't have done it without Mrs. Sarah's beautiful tutu! :) Thanks Sarah! Caydence and Hannah should have been able to share a prize!

Fireworks & Friends...

Fireworks and Friends...what more could you ask for?! We spent July 3rd AND 4th this year being IN parades, eating yummy food, and visiting with family and friends!
