ST. PATTY's DAY Parade!

A day at the St. Patty's Day Parade in Downtown Charlotte...yes, I said DOWNTOWN, NOT UPTOWN! ;) Those of us Charlotte natives understand that it will NEVER be UPTOWN! ;) haha!

Anyway, my dad and sis spent the weekend with us and we went to the parade. I was hopeful that it wouldnt be as cold as last year....STRIKE! It was freezing! Wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't so shady and windy, but geesh! You'll see the pix of Hannah snuggling up in her daddy's fleece! Poor girl! And she had a jacket of her own!

The parade was full of cute and pretty neat things! Here are some snapshots from our day!

Rock Climbin lil Monkey!

Hannah and her Daddy have a new hobby together....rock climbing! Its perfect b/c my lil monkey loves to climb on anything and everything and its something that they can do together! Daddy is so proud and loves that they share something in common! Here are some pix of Hannah as she "walks the walls". (She constantly asks to keep going to back to climb every day!)

Lake Norman State Park!

We are very thankful that Jon got a job after being laid off from Bank of America. He will be starting Monday the 16th. Truly an answer to prayers!
As Jon had this week off gettin ready for the new job, we had some beautiful days to enjoy together. Wednesday we decided to go to Lake Norman State Park and do some hiking/walking, throwing rocks into the lake (one of Hannah's favorite things) and exploring. We also accomplished spending some real quality time together before the baby comes. Hopefully I will continue to feel good enough to do this more before June. Hannah really loves the outdoors!
We all had a blast and as you can see we captured some great pictures!

From Snow to 70 degrees at the park...

We went from snow Monday to 70 degree weather and a trip to the park on Friday! Only in Charlotte folks! haha! Here are some of the pics from our fun days both in the cold and in the nice spring weather!

25 Weeks!

25 weeks yesterday! ;)

Heartbeat is 150 and strong! Mommy's trying not to gain too much weight. LOL! But seems like carbs are all I want these days. And of course the Doc told me to cut back on those for a smaller baby so I can avoid a c-sect. this time. We'll see how that works out! ha!

I took one other trip late Sunday and spent 18.34 saved 41.58 got things such as: hamburger meat, turkey meat, ocean spray juice, cream of wheat, broccoli, potatoes, sour cream, suave shampoo, 5 boxes of frosted flakes!

In case you are wondering, the things that I have mulitples of (like the frosted flakes and sauces) I share those with my family/friends b/c they gave me overage...meaning with the coupon, I got money BACK for taking the item off the shelf! ;) Yahoooooooooooooooo! How exciting! I love this game!

Discovery Place with Aunt LaLa!

Hannah called up Aunt LaLa on Saturday and wanted her to "go somewhere with her". Laura said yes, of course, and we decided to go to Discovery Place! They had a Circus! Display and then we always love to see the animals/fish. It was super crowded and Hannah was a bit overwhelmed, but we all had a great time! Check out me on the pulley!!! 5 mos pregnant and I can still lift my weight! LOL!
