OUR TRIP TO SURFSIDE WITH THE LEAKS! ;)

Hannah and her "BFF", Sydney, went to Surfside together this week! We had the best time. It was only us girls. We played on the beach (of course), flew kites, ate ice cream together, played at the arcades, and had a BLAST! ;) Thanks Mrs. Heather for inviting us!
On the way home, Hannah and I had some quality time together in the car singing and playing "I spy". It was a great vacation!

CHEERIO MATH...

Today Hannah did something truly AWESOME for her age! She's only 2 1/2 and she was counting her cheerios with her daddy.....big deal right? Well, she also followed directions of putting two purple ones in her hand and then one yellow one in the other....then she promptly said "hey, thats three!" Wow! ;) Im always awestruck by her!

Update on triple coupon shopping!!!!!!!! I took 4 trips to the grocery store (which is only a mile or so away from me, so I didn't waste gas) and I spent (out of pocket) 113.00....I saved 330.00!!!!!! Wow! Hannah "helped" by pushing her lil cart in the Harris Teeter. She was so cute! And I gave her the items and the coupons of the things that were free and let her "check out". She's getting to be such a big girl! I can't believe it. I hope she'll be as thrifty as me! LOL.....

So, Hannah, my mom (Mimi) and I went to the PINK Knights baseball game, where they were collecting money for (you guessed it) the Susan G. Koman foundation. ;) But how cute is that? They dressed in pink and gave out pink baseballs to everyone! And later Hannah got hers signed by Homer and Caroline the dragons. She had a blast until the fireworks came unexpectedly in the bright light of day! OOPS! Scared the be-jesus out of her and she whined to go home...which she NEVER does! :( Poor baby! ARRRRRG! Im up at MIDNIGHT organizing coupons for our mad rush to get TRIPLE coupons at Harris Teeter AND BiLo this week! ;) Yahoooo!!!!!!! Im so excited, but man, this is exhausting! I am hoping to save over 200 dollars! I'll update this to let you know how I did! I can't wait!

Update on Cathy

She is doing much better, but has a long road ahead! She is now in a rehab center and is doing lots of work to get her muscles, motor skills, and memory back on track. We are so blessed to still have her with us! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to recover.

Trip to the Library and Beautiful weather

Wow, what a beautiful day! It makes it especially beautiful too to hear that my MIL is doin so much better! We are just soaking up every minute we can in life...

My mom (Mimi) and Hannah and I went downtown to the library for storytime and the out to lunch with my sister. We had the best time outside! Here are a few of the pictures I captured of our cute lil Hannahbanana!
